As members are aware there have been ongoing issues with leaks to the roof in Time House. This has resulted in water dripping into parts of the building and requiring buckets to be placed in various areas to gather water leaking into the building.
You will also note that some remedial work has been undertaken on several occasions, however members have just raised the issue once again. It appears that the remedial work that was carried out has not fixed the situation.
Your Union’s representatives raised the matter once more with the Property Department at a meeting on 28th August. We have been informed that a completely new roof membrane will be installed and this work will commence by mid-September. A substantial investment has been made on this work and it is expected that it should address the matter.
We will keep you updated in relation to any future plans for refurbishment of the building.
