Overtime and Aspire Ratings - AIB Group - AIB 01-25
08 February 2025
AIB 01/25
We received a number of queries from members about claiming overtime on business travel where the Bank has asked you to work/train/attend meetings from a location other than your normal working location. We can confirm that all members should indeed claim overtime for time spent travelling to or from an event or work where this is not your normal working location and is over and above your normal working day and commute, for example if asked to attend a meeting in Dublin and your normal work location is in Galway.
At this time of year staff will be receiving their Aspire performance ratings. These ratings are extremely important as they influence your Pay Increase which this Union has secured.
The Union has previously issued detailed guidance on this process available to all members here https://www.fsunion.org/assets/files/pdf/aspire.pdf
If you are not happy with your rating and feel you deserve a better one, then do appeal your rating and talk to your relevant Union representative, details below.
Please continue to encourage all staff in your area to join this Union so we are stronger for the year ahead and the progressive agenda we put forward to the Bank on your behalf.
