As you will be aware, FSU was at the forefront and worked hard to lobby the government to lift the restrictions on variable pay and then to achieve a return of profit share arrangements in the Banking sector.

The AIB Variable Remuneration Scheme provides two options:

A cash payment

The Bank recently announced a variable remuneration award of 5% to all eligible employees.  Your award value will be available for viewing on my career on the 23 April and paid in May payroll.

Share scheme

Eligible employees in the ROI and UK have the opportunity to use part or all of their VR award to purchase AIB shares through the APSS and SIP Share Schemes. This year’s enrolment window will open on Monday, 28 April, and will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, 9 May.

Before deciding whether to take part in the Share Schemes, it’s important to review all the information available on the HR Hub to ensure you fully understand how the schemes work. Please keep in mind that investing in any share scheme involves some level of risk. The value of your shares may rise or fall depending on the company’s performance and market conditions.
